The End of the Beginning

As the semester is about to come to an end, I have now witnesses how hard my senior year is. There has been much stress in my life due to all of the college applications that I have been filling out and the financial aid papers that I had to do. I have applied to all of the colleges that I desire to go to and have sent off my transcripts. I have gotten accepted to two colleges already; Fresno State and Grand Canyon University in Arizona. I am looking forward to go to college and I know it’s going to be as hard as my senior year in high school is. I am doing my best to focus and not let all of the stress get in my way from achieving my goals. I know that my next semester isn’t going to be as hard as this one is because now that I have most of my college stuff done and checked off of my checklist, I can now focus mostly on my school work and my homework assignments. It’s hard trying to make time for homework but I have taken off work lately in order to get my homework done because my education comes first and work comes last. I am going to invest in my education in which when I get older all of the work that I put into as a student in high school will get me my future job. I am caught up  in all of my classes and am doing my best to get level 4’s. My AP classes are getting a little hard but I am keeping up with it and I am getting good grades. I am putting in that hard work in order that when the time comes to take the AP Exams at the end of the year then I will be ready, I will overcome, I will pass the exams that many fail. I am looking forwards to next semester and all that comes with senior year. I am excited for prom and grad night because it will be the last school dance that I will be going to. I have to make this year memorable because this is going to be the last year until me and my friends go our separate ways. I have noticed all of the stress from my friends and I try to help encourage them because I feel the same way. There will be a time at the end of the year in which we will be walking down that isle on the football field and all of us that will be graduating will be reflecting on all of the work that we had to accomplish our senior year. I will be thanking my teachers throughout my whole high school experience and will thank them for helping me get through high school and taking time out of their own day in order to help me when I needed it when it was difficult to understand something.
