As I Have adapted to my surroundings, I have noticed that this year isn’t going to be as hard as I thought it would be. I have been learning a lot of information in my classes. I am really enjoying this year as everyone says that it is going to be the best school year you ever have; I am starting to believe that assertion now. Doing homework and working throughout the week isn’t as hard as I thought it would be but I have to continue to make time for each and every thing; although, my homework and education is worth more than a minimum wage part time job. I took my first quiz for my AP Biology course and it was about 50 questions and I only missed 8. I didn’t a lot better than I thought I did so that was confidence booster than enlightened my hope for the rest of the semester. Economics is an interesting class that is going to prepare me for life in which I have learned a lot. AP English is going great as I have started a new book, “The Things they Carried,” which is a book about American soldiers fighting in Vietnam. I barley started it so I don’t know what is behind those “doors” but one things that I do know is that it is going to be one gory book. AP World History is really interesting as well as I am learning about the early civilizations that are getting more civilized and have developed their own irrigation systems and the complexity of their agricultural developments. I just finished one of my PowerPoint Presentations and I am almost ready to present it to the class with one of my fellow classmates.  Trigonometry is a bit challenging but after spending time to go over it and look at my notes over and over again, I have actually understood functions more than I have ever done before.  Intermediate guitar is easy as my instructor thinks that I will be done with the first semester in a couple of weeks, thank goodness so I can have time to catch up work if needed or I can just move on and finish the class  early so I do not have to worry about it anymore. I am really enjoying the class. My last class psychology is mostly common sense for the first measurement topic but I am ready to move on and get in detail with how the brain functions and processes. I am ready for the obstacles and challenges that my senior year is going to bring against me but I know that with hard work and dedication, I will reap the benefits. CSU college applications are opening in a couple weeks and I need to get ready to apply to my desired universities before its too late. One thing that I learned from college night in Visalia is that the number one thing that affects students from admitting into college are the deadlines.
